National Center for Genome ResourcesThe National Center for Genome Resources (NCGR) in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is a non-profit research institution dedicated to improving human health and nutrition through collaborative research at the intersection of bioscience, computing and mathematics. Our vision is to pioneer the use of software and computation to improve treatment of diseases and nutrition. At NCGR we study the influence of genetic variability of both host and pathogen on infectious disease progression and its subsequent impact on human health. Today we have evolving programs in Infectious Disease, Legume Crop Improvement, Food Security, Clinical Decision Support Systems, and Personalized Medicine.
