NORAC, Inc
Download detailed PDF Members: The history of NORAC, Inc. is a lesson in vision, technical innovation and uncompromising commercial integrity. In 1953, Dr. Chester McCloskey left Caltech to produce organic peroxide initiators for the rapidly growing fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites industry. He later led an R&D team that developed a sophisticated ketone peroxide manufacturing process that remains the most efficient and technically-advanced in the industry. Today, NORAC is the leading supplier of ketone peroxides in North America. In 1966, NORAC entered another specialty chemical market, metallic stearates. NORAC acquired a metallic stearate manufacturing company, and soon developed a new highly efficient, patented manufacturing method. NORAC is now a leading metallic stearate supplier. In 1960, the company began producing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API’s). Norac Pharma specializes in complex multi-stage organic synthesis and separation. Our FDA inspected and cGMP-certified laboratory and manufacturing facilities represent the state-of-art in API manufacturing. Whatever we do, we always do our best!
