Chromagen has addressed detection technology by linking several distinct disciplines in a systems approach. We have developed fluorescent dyes (now available with various active conjugation sites) and substrates; homogeneous assays for proteomic studies of enzymes; signal transduction pathways and biological receptors; sensitive heterogeneous assays employing proprietary nucleic acid capture chemistries for measuring gene expression; and proprietary fluorescence detection instrumentation which can detect multiple fluorescent endpoints simultaneously.
