The mission of the Neuropsychiatric Research Institute is to improve the health status of individuals. This will be done by establishing and maintaining affiliations with core partners to create a center of excellence in the neurosciences that will enhance clinical expertise through education, research, and service.The Neuropsychiatric Research Institute was created to be a catalyst for supporting research and innovation in the science of health care, focusing on diseases and disorders of the brain and central nervous system. The development of new therapies depends on scientific inquiries in both basic science and clinical research - the kinds of collaborations supported and encouraged by NRI
