He has been a management consultant for large multi-national companies in operations and supply chain improvement since 1987. Prior to that he held senior positions in the transportation and wine and spirits industries.He has conducted engagements in global supply chain management, distribution, transportation, customer service and international operations. His clients include companies in the high tech, pharmaceutical, chemical, consumer and transportation industries.He is an Associate Professor at Fairfield University, teaching graduate courses in supply chain design and lean manufacturing. He has written material for the Journal of Business Logistics, American Warehousemen’s Association, and the Gartner Group. He has been a speaker at national and regional conferences for the Council of Logistics Management and APICS, such as APICS Seminar1 2004, Simulation Modeling in Lean Programs
