Our practice origins date back to 1923, making us the oldest orthopedic specialty clinic in Charlotte, and we take pride in our over 75 years continuous commitment to the needs of this community. In fact, as one of the largest orthopedic practices in the country, we offer free, ground-level parking at our 10 convenient locations, physicians on staff at all Charlotte hospitals, and the most comprehensive orthopedic care in this region.
The practice of orthopedics involves both the surgical and non-surgical treatment of injuries and disorders of bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and other soft tissues of the body for patients of all ages.
The physician staff of Charlotte Orthopedic Specialists includes orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists, podiatrist and occupational medicine physicians. While the orthopedic surgeons at Charlotte Orthopedic Specialists are trained and experienced in all areas of orthopedics, many are also further trained in sub specialty areas, such as laser and reconstructive surgery, the treatment of hand and upper extremity problems, joint replacement surgery, arthritis management, back and neck disorders, sports medicine injuries, problems of the foot and ankle, and children's' orthopedics.
