Ozgene staff have produced genetically modified (GM) mice and rats for global markets for nearly 20 years. GM mice and rats represent the most sophisticated and valuable tools in functional genomics and drug target validation.Ozgene provides a complete vector design and construction service followed by the generation of knockout, knockin and humanised mice, as well as transgenic and lentiviral transgenic mice and rats. We also offer phenotypic analysis of GM mice; providing a complete service from gene discovery to gene function. Animal breeding, custom rederivation and cryopreservation services are also available.
Ozgene's senior management team has an established track record in the generation and analysis of GM mice as published in leading scientific journals including Nature, Science, EMBO & PNAS. Our CEO and CSO were the first to produce and publish C57BL/6 knockout mice in 1993.
