Founded in 1991, Pace Scientific manufactures portable data loggers and sensors. Our top selling data logger, the XR440 Pocket Logger® (photo below), is a four-channel data logger with direct-connect sensors for temperature, humidity, high pressure, low pressure, ac current, dc current, ac voltage and light. The XR440 reads 0-5v signals, resistances, and contact closures, and connects to over 40 accessory sensors with no external power required. Miniature plug-in modules are available for additional voltage ranges, 4-20ma signals, thermocouple and millivolt signals. An external module accepts pulses. The XR440 logs up to 129,024 readings. All sensors are powered from an internal, user-replaceable battery. Any combination of four PACE sensors can be used with the XR440 Data Logger. Battery life with any mix of connected sensors is typically 2 to 3 years.
