(www.nuvotecusa.com), is a comprehensive nuclear waste processing facility located in Richland, Washington. The 45-acre PEcoS waste processing complex is comprised of a Low Level Waste (LLW) Facility and a Mixed Low Level Waste (MLLW) Facility. PEcoS was formed in September 2003 as a result of local investors acquiring the assets of the former Allied Technology Group, Inc.’s Richland-based processing operations.The LLW Facility encompasses approximately 70,000 square feet and can treat more than eight million pounds of solid, liquid, and wet waste annually. This facility has a radioactive materials license and uses both thermal and non-thermal technologies to treat LLW.
