PACTT - Bureau de transfert de technologie

PACTT is the joint office of Technology Transfer of the University and the University Hospitals of Lausanne. Its dynamic team is highly experienced and knowledgeable in bringing technology from the campus to the industrial marketplace.The “Partnership And Corporation of Technology Transfer” office was founded in February 2000, marking an agreement signed between the University of Lausanne (UNIL) and the University Hospitals of Lausanne. The two Institutions share operating costs.
PACTT's mission is to promote the transfer of the Institutions' technologies to the marketplace for society's use and benefit, by licensing our patented inventions.
PACTT is a true hub, providing a complete and personalized service to each party. The key actor is the inventor who guarantees the success of technology transfer. The inventor is supported by PACTT for consistent and focused service throughout the transfer process.
For all organizational matters, whether it is filing for patent applications, reports from experts, or the creation of a company, PACTT disposes of a professional network of lawyers and patent agents in Europe and in the United States.
PACTT acts as an interface between industrial companies and university researchers and has been commissioned by the Institutions to negotiate directly with all partners, be they economists or academics.
PACTT reports quarterly to a Managing Committee composed of the Director of the University Hospitals of Lausanne and the Rector of the University of Lausanne. An annual report is published.
