Pan Diagnostics Limited

Pan Diagnostics Limited (PDL) is the wholly owned commercial subsidiary of the Ness Foundation, based in Inverness and formed in 1998 to carry out research in neuro-developmental disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, autistic spectrum disorder, dyspraxia, depression and ADHD. The principal area of research involves the role of lipids in these disorders.
PDL carries out breath analysis on a commercial basis; the analysis is a very complex process requiring expertise and the use of highly sensitive analytical equipment specially designed to measure the small quantities of compounds found within breath. The non-invasive nature of the process makes it extremely desirable as a new application within the healthcare industry.
To enable breath samples to be taken, stored and transported, PDL has developed and markets the PanBag.
