Our specialty is a fast-growing and popular science project, the study of Barn Owl pellets. Barn Owls swallow their prey whole, and spit up the bones, fur, and skulls in a compact pellet. This makes the assembly and identification of pellet contents an exciting, economical, hands-on way for students to learn natural science, skeletal anatomy, food habits, food chains and ecology. We provide heat-treated pellets and related educational tools.
