Predex™ is a naturally occurring flavonic glycoside called diosmin found in manyplants, mainly lemons and oranges. It was initially introduced in Europe for its
therapeutic benefits.
Predex™ (diosmin) is a veinotropic agent and vasculoprotective compound,
which may increase the capillary resistance of blood vessels, increase vein tonicity,
and decrease capillary permeability.
Predex™ (diosmin) also has an anti-inflammatory activity related to an inhibition of prostaglandin
synthesis.
Predex™ (diosmin) has antioxidant activity.
