Collateral Therapeutics Incorporated

Collateral's initial non-surgical gene therapy products under investigation are designed to promote and enhance angiogenesis, a natural biological process which results in the growth of additional blood vessels, to increase levels of blood flow to oxygen-deprived tissues.

The Company's angiogenic products are administered using methods of gene therapy based on non-surgical adenoviral vector delivery of angiogenic genes. In addition to the Company's angiogenic product candidates, the Company is actively researching gene therapy products designed to increase responsiveness of the heart to adrenergic stimulation and to stimulate heart muscle regeneration.



The Company's lead product candidate, GENERX™ (Ad5-FGF4) is a non-surgical angiogenic gene therapy, which is being developed as a potential treatment for patients with stable exertional angina (chest pain) due to coronary artery disease (CAD).
