Q-RNA, Inc.
Download detailed PDF Members: Q-RNA, Inc., was founded in 1996 by Abraham Grossman, Ph.D., a molecular biologist with both academic and industry experience. The early efforts of Q-RNA were focused on the development of RNA (ribonucleic acid) ligands and their interaction with proteins. Recent discoveries have put Q-RNA in the forefront of opening the secrets to a vast number of protein misfolding disorders representing major unmet medical needs. Its most recent founder, Donald F. Weaver, M.D., Ph.D., former founder of Neurochem, Inc., adds compound libraries, rational drug design and medicinal chemistry to the Company’s formidable array of technology and capabilities. Both the Company and Dr. Weaver believe that Q-RNA’s unique discovery/validation systems combined with rationally designed compounds will be a successful way to provide effective drugs to treat Alzheimer’s disease.
