QTL Biosystems

QTL Biosystems is a privately held LLC located in Santa Fe, NM which began operations in January of 2000. The company has focused on the development of two lines of products, one of which uses fluorescence superquenching as a detection platform for biomedical research and the other for biodetection of infectious and/or hazardous biological agents. is developing products for : • Rapid, or "high-throughput," assays for drug discovery and quality control for pharmaceutical companies; • In-Vitro Diagnostics for the medical and research markets.• Advanced bioagent detection technologies; "QTL" stands for "Quencher-Tether-Ligand," a new technology that was invented by the founders of QTL Biosystems at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Our products are based on a proprietary QTL molecular component that enables a single step, instantaneous, homogeneous assay. The QTL concept enables a remarkably versatile new line of biosensing and biomedical assay products.
