Quintessence Biosciences, Inc., funded in 2003, is an early stage biopharmaceutical company focused on development of human therapeutics. The Company's EVade™ technology provides the means to reengineer mammalian proteins to be cytotoxic to cancer cells.
The company is based on based on technologies discovered by Drs. Ronald Raines and Laura Kiessling at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. These technologies are licensed through the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF). Presently, Quintessence Biosciences, Inc. has exclusive rights to five patented technologies derived from the Raines and Kiessling laboratories and will serve as a conduit for their future discoveries.
