SAINT PETER'S UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

For almost a century, Saint Peter's University Hospital has been serving the healthcare needs of central New Jersey. From our simple beginnings in 1907, Saint Peter's has grown to become a technologically-advanced, 422-bed teaching hospital that provides a broad array of services to the community - from sophisticated care of premature babies to specialized geriatric medicine.Saint Peter's brings the latest medical practices and highly skilled professionals to the bedside. We treat more than 30,000 inpatients and more than 200,000 outpatients annually. We employ 2,800 healthcare professionals and support personnel, and more than 900 physicians and dentists have privileges at our facility. Saint Peter's is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and was the tenth hospital in the nation to be certified as a Magnet hospital for nursing excellence by the American Nurse Credentialing Center.
