Download detailed PDF Members: The San Diego MIT Enterprise Forum's mission is to educate entrepreneurs in an informative and entertaining environment in front of a diverse audience of San Diego business leaders and technologists, as well as capital and service providers.The Forum's mission reflects the ideals of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's founders, who promoted education for practical applications. This history – rich with tradition – has evolved to one rich with innovation.The MIT Alumni Association founded the first Forum chapter in 1978. The MIT Enterprise Forum operates through a network of 24 chapters in the U.S. and overseas.Member chapters are formed around a core group of MIT graduates. Program participation is open to all. A volunteer board of experienced entrepreneurs, corporate executives, university professors and industry leaders runs each chapter
