Skretting

In 1999, Skretting in Europe has been created to answer the need to gather all the Skretting's fish feed production activities in continental Europe and in the Mediterranean countries but also to meet the ever expanding feeds requirements from European farmers. Our company supplies a large number of countries throughout Europe with fish feeds for salmon, trout, sea bass, sea bream, meagre, sole, turbot, eel, tilapia, carp, catfish and sturgeon. Although trout remains the most important cultivated species in continental Europe, with France being the major producer, mariculture is expanding in the Mediterranean with a very strong production in Greece and Turkey. Both sectors represented more than 400,000 tons of fish in 2003. Other species such as turbot and eel are showing great signs of interest for further development.
