On September 1st, 2003, a new site for our global headquarters was opened in the embassy area in the centre of Oslo. The new address is Drammensveien 41, N-0271 Oslo, Norway. Our new premises has previously housed a bank, a fashionable restaurant and several renowned law firms, and has a grand total of more than 1800 square metres (4 full floors, each of about 450 sqm). After having undergone a complete renovation programme including various safety measures, this multi-million NOK investment allows us to continue our growth plans in terms of number of employees, and further strengthening our position as a leading service provider in Northern Europe. The Smerud Medical Research Group is a clinical Contract Research Organisation (CRO) operating in the Northern European area with head office in Oslo (Norway) and subsidiary offices in Denmark, Finland and Sweden. Our activities are primarily focused on clinical project management and monitoring of phase II-III studies, regulatory affairs, biometrics, medical writing, quality assurance and general drug development consulting.We have earned ourselves a reputation of adhering strictly to state-of-the-art scientific principles and always being a reliable and objective consultant. We have over the years obtained close client-provider relationships with many pharmaceutical and biotech groups, and we are proud to collaborate closely with renowned academic professionals in our region of Europe as well as in the US.
