We have a particular interest in gut and skin disorders where products can be delivered locally by ingestion or by topical application. Where possible, we take these products to market as dietary supplements, medical foods or skin care products because the time and cost to market is much less than with drugs.
Our products include novel milk-derived bioactive extracts as ingredients for cosmetic and nutritional products and we are developing additional products for the prevention of oral mucositis, (mouth ulcers induced by chemotherapy and radiotherapy) and skin disorders such as dermatitis. We are also developing a family of molecules for a variety of skincare applications.
The objective of this business is to license commercial rights to these products to established global marketers. For selected non-prescription products, TGR may undertake full product development itself and then market through global distributors.
