TranSenda International, LLC was established in 1998 by a core group of tax industry leaders and technology executives from Orrtax Software, Inc. in response to the growing worldwide demand for the electronic filing of tax returns and electronic forms processing. The group's experience in processing millions of electronically filed income tax returns - the most demanding of electronic forms - led Microsoft to select TranSenda's technology in 1999 for its consumer tax software, TaxSaver.
Soon afterwards, TranSenda began to look for new markets to apply its electronic form processing expertise. Healthcare and life sciences organizations also demand secure and efficient handling of large volumes of data and forms. These complex automation and workflow needs map closely to the tax industry. In 2001, TranSenda developed its first healthcare solution. By 2003, TranSenda could count Cardinal Health among its customers.
Beginning in 2004, TranSenda committed its resources to creating solutions for life sciences organizations. TranSenda now offers a full suite of clinical trial software applications, each of which is optimized for integration by their common foundation and provide a single collaboration portal to integrate and manage all of your applications and data.
