Women's Health Research

Today, thanks in large part to the work of organizations, such as Women's Health Research, women are being included in medical research studies in greater numbers. WHR is committed to the concept that expanded and sustained research on women's health will bring results. It will improve women's health and will save women's lives. Women's Health Research is Arizona's only independent clinical trials site whose sole mission is to improve the health of women through research. Founded in 1998, WHR has brought statewide attention to the need for appropriate inclusion of women in major medical research studies and the resulting need for more information about conditions affecting women.
For more than 20 years, the physicians of OB/GYN Consultants, Ltd. have made patients and quality clinical research a priority in their practice. They have now brought that expertise to Women’s Health Research, expanding their focus from beyond traditional gynecologic conditions to more global women’s health issues.
