Wichita Ear Clinic

The Wichita Ear Clinic is dedicated to providing state of the art medical and surgical treatment for diseases of the ear and cranial base. Our physicians, Thomas C. Kryzer, MD and John M. Lasak, MD are fellowship trained otologists, neurotologists, and cranial base surgeons. Our clinic treats all types of hearing loss, vestibular and balance disorders, otologic (ear) infections, tinnitus, facial nerve disorders, acoustic neuromas, and tumors of the ear and cranial base. We take pride in the evaluation and treatment of all causes of hearing loss. Our staff of five audiologists, Jeffrey Moore, Ph.D., Eileen Skillen, M.A., Kimberly Bell, M.A., Leigh Unkel, M.A., and David Page, M.A., are trained to perform all of the diagnostic testing necessary to diagnose hearing loss in both adults and children. Audiologic testing includes pure tone audiometry and speech discrimination testing, play and behavioral audiometry to diagnose childhood hearing loss, otoacoustic emissions (OAEs) and brainstem-evoked audiometry (ABR) to evaluate newborn hearing. The management options for those with hearing loss include medical, surgical, and hearing aid rehabilitation. We additionally perform all the necessary audiologic testing to determine cochlear implant candidacy. Our neurotologists specialize in both pediatric and adult cochlear implantation, and implant mapping and programming is accomplished on site at the Wichita Ear Clinic.
