WIL Research LaboratoriesWIL RESEARCH LABORATORIES, LLC was founded in 1976 in Cincinnati, Ohio as a limited toxicological testing laboratory that conducted short term studies for a select number of clients in the Cincinnati area. In 1978, as a result of expanding toxicology testing services, the WIL Toxicology Data Management System (WTDMS™) was developed. This protocol-driven software system was the first in the CRO industry and became the prototype for other major toxicology testing laboratories.By 1980, WIL had outgrown its facilities in Cincinnati and moved to a 75-acre site in Ashland, Ohio. The move to new facilities enhanced WIL’s capabilities to conduct a larger number of studies and expanded its client base both domestically and internationally. During the late 1980s and early 1990s a steady flow of investment was made in remodeling and expanding the existing facilities and acquiring the latest equipment to further enhance capabilities.
