Æterna Zentaris’ pipeline follows a multi-track endeavour in three principal therapeutic fields: oncology, endocrinology and anti-infectives. Growth strategy The Æterna Zentaris business model is to discover and develop innovative products mostly through alliances with pharmaceutical and biotech companies. In case of licensing, the Company reaps revenues from projects even at the earliest stage of development. This latter model minimizes risk through alliance commitments that provide for Æterna Zentaris’ partners to pay most development costs, while Æterna Zentaris retains significant commercial rights.
