IRIDEX Corporation is a worldwide leader in developing, manufacturing, marketing and selling innovative and cost-effective medical laser systems. Ophthalmology For well over a decade IRIDEX has supported research, collaborated with physicians, and developed products to perform laser therapy for the treatment of eye diseases. IRIS Medical® laser products treat a variety of eye diseases, including the three leading causes of irreversible blindness: age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma. The family of products include green and infrared lasers with a wide range of compatible delivery devices including single use disposable probes. Dermatology The dermatology laser products have been used since 1996 by dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and cosmetic physicians to perform a variety of cosmetic procedures. Laser systems and accessories are used to treat vascular, pigmented, and cutaneous lesions as well as perform laser facial treatments.
