DeveloGen AG

DeveloGen is a leading biotechnology company developing innovative gene-based medicines. By applying novel functional genomic and gene discovery techniques to developmental biology, DeveloGen has pioneered programs in diabetes, obesity and liver regeneration. In 1999, DeveloGen and its founders were awarded the German President's prize for innovation. In May 2000, DeveloGen merged with HepaVec AG - Germany's leading gene delivery and liver disease biotechnology company. To date the company has 70 employees in its research laboratories in Göttingen and Berlin. Corporate headquarters are located in Göttingen. The merged company, which will keep the DeveloGen name, combines the rapid gene discovery and functional genomics strengths of DeveloGen, with the innovative gene delivery technology pioneered by HepaVec.
