DynaWellTM is a privately owned Sweden based medical technology company founded in 1998.

Our mission is to assist medical professionals by offering sophisticated diagnostic techniques for CT and MRI scanners. This provides a more accurate diagnosis to enhance the possibility of optimal and cost-effective treatment. Ultimately, we strive to help people who are experiencing pain or discomfort to return to a pain free life. In line of our business concept, we concentrate on developing an enhanced imaging products for computer tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).



DynaWellTM, L-Spine (lumbar spine) our first product grew out of a need to gain more accurate imaging of the lumbar spine. This is achieved by offering a unique way of simulating the normal pressure exerted on the spine when standing, but in a supine (lying down) position. In the early 1990’s a group of researchers at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, Sweden, were wrestling with the fact that many back problems are not clearly visible when a patient is lying inside a CT or MRI scanner. Reason: axial compression on the lower back is about 50% lower than when standing. As a result, the source of the pain may not be visible in the images.
