Genaera Corporation is a biopharmaceutical company committed to developing medicines for serious diseases from genomics and natural products. Our research and development efforts are focused on anti-angiogenesis, obesity, infectious and respiratory diseases. We were incorporated in the State of Delaware in 1987 as Magainin Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and began operations in 1988. We changed our name to Genaera Corporation on March 9, 2001. Genaera maintains its headquarters and laboratory facilities in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania.
