Biosearch Italia

Biosearch Italia is a leading European biotech company focused on the discovery, development and production of new antibiotics. Our goal is to prevent and treat infections caused by multi-resistant micro-organisms (bacteria and fungi) which do not respond to current therapy. Our work is based on high-throughput screening of a large and diverse library of microbial extracts, which is being constantly expanded. Our approach covers target identification, assay set up, chemical, microbiological and analytical profiling, bioinformatics, process development and supply of active ingredients.
