Gliatech is engaged in the research, development and commercialization of ADCON, a family of proprietary, resorbable, carbohydrate polymer medical devices designed to inhibit surgical scarring and adhesions. In addition to the ADCON family of medical devices, the Company is pursuing the development of small molecule drug candidates for the treatment of several central nervous system disorders, including Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder ("ADHD"), sleep disorders, anxiety and Alzheimer's Disease ("AD").
