Gentronix helps to accelerate the pace of drug discovery by easing or removing bottlenecks in pre-clinical research. Its first product is a test to screen new pharmaceuticals for genotoxicity and cytotoxicity.
Gentronix's genotoxicity reporter system is a high-throughput eukaryotic assay that precedes the standard test battery for genotoxicity. It is a rapid, economical means of filtering out new drug candidates that would otherwise, at considerable expense, fail regulated genotoxicity testing.
Gentronix systems generate information in high-throughput mode, using standard laboratory automation, and offer the opportunity for customers to eliminate candidate compounds very early in the drug discovery process.
