Imperial College Innovations Limited

Imperial College Innovations Ltd is the technology development company of Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, London. IC Innovations manages the commercialisation of all novel technology originating from the College’s research programmes, through licensing and new company formation, which, in the bioscience field, includes gene therapy, drug delivery, vaccine and novel drug therapy technologies. Imperial College is now home to the largest medical school in the UK, which has an annual research income of £78 million, providing a huge resource for the generation of new developments with clinical and commercial potential. In addition to the healthcare technologies originating from Imperial College School of Medicine and other bioscience departments of the College, the company is responsible for commercialising Imperial’s science and engineering developments. IC Innovations also acts as the agent of the London School of Pharmacy, commercialising its medically oriented technologies, particularly in the areas of drug design, delivery and formulation.
