Develop a world-class IP portfolio in novel drug targets and lead series for analgesic medicines with targeted mode of action in the PNS. Exploit this asset base through corporate partnering.
Ionix uses proprietary drug targets that are involved in the perception and signaling of pain in the peripheral nervous system. This will allow the discovery of highly selective and efficacious medicines, without the side effects that are often associated with today’s CNS-acting drugs. Collaborative development to Phase IIA
Corporate partnering of lead compounds with major biotech and big pharma, at preclinical or early clinical stage in return for license fees, milestones and royalties.
Collaboration with other biotech companies on drug targets, chemistry and assay technologies where Ionix IPR can be leveraged, or programs accelerated. Partnering of candidate drugs will be triggered when a proof-of-principle data package is assembled for each program
