Kendro Laboratory Products is a leading player in the global laboratory marketplace, and was formed in May 1998 through the merger of the German laboratory equipment manufacturer Heraeus Instruments and the American centrifuge manufacturer Sorvall Products, L.P. The merger brings together two organizations with complementary product lines, and brand strengths built solidly on quality, competence, reliability and service.
Heraeus and Sorvall products are known throughout the world - and with the formation of Kendro, they are now available from a single point of supply. A broad equipment portfolio spans centrifuges for every application, cell separation systems, ovens, incubators, safety cabinets, furnaces and freezers - all backed by established, reputable sales and service teams in Europe, The Americas and the Far East.
The global Kendro organization has revenues in excess of $170 million and more than 1000 employees worldwide.

Kendro’s worldwide customer base spans a diverse range of markets. The company serves the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, clinical, healthcare and blood processing sectors, and supplies much of the equipment needed by university, commercial and government laboratories. Kendro ovens and furnaces are also used for many industrial process and quality control applications.

Superspeed centrifuges: RC-5B Plus/RC-5C Plus/RC-26 Plus Series of ‘workhorse’ floor model superspeeds, delivering optimal separation performance without belts or complex vacuum systems.
Ultraspeed centrifuges: Discovery™ Series ultracentrifuges, for separations at up to 802,006 x g - the smallest, quietest and most heat-efficient floor model ultras currently available.
Micro-ultraspeed centrifuges: Compact, floorstanding RC-MGX Series micro ultras for small samples, capable of separating lipoproteins and banding DNA at 900,000 x g in under 2 hours.
Lowspeed centrifuges: Capable of accommodating 12 liters per run in six large 2-liter bottles, the RC12BPÔ offers twice the capacity of competitive lowspeed centrifuges for high-throughput sample processing applications at up to 7,333 x g.
Intelligent benchtop centrifuges: The Biofuge Stratos has a drive spindle - unique for a refrigerated benchtop centrifuge - that allows 10 different rotors to be spun at forces of up to 50,377 x g.
Microliter centrifuges: Ultra-compact Biofuge Pico (non-refrigerated) and Biofuge Fresco (refrigerated) microliter centrifuges accommodate a 24-place aerosol-tight rotor that reaches 16,060 x g in just 15 seconds.
Cell separation systems: CENTRITECH® Cell Separation Systems ensure gentle cell harvesting and maximized biomass in perfusion cell culture.
CO2 incubators: A broad range of incubators for cell and tissue culture, each model providing optimal conditions for growth, protection against drying out, and the maximum possible protection against contamination.
