Mitotix is a privately held company focused on the discovery and development of therapeutic products for the treatment of diseases resulting from inappropriate cell proliferation. The Company's approach is based on Mitotix's unique understanding of the mechanisms that regulate the cell division cycle, the process by which cells grow, each replicating into two daughter cells. The Company's initial therapeutic programs have the potential to yield new treatments for cancer, major opportunistic infections, immune disorders, certain cardiovascular diseases and inflammatory disorders.

The Company's technology builds on the recent, dramatic advances in understanding the regulatory molecules that control the events of the cell division cycle. Moreover, this technology may allow for the development of potential drugs for other cell proliferation disorders based on new mechanisms of action.
