Amsis Pharma deals with pharmaceutical formulation issues including all aspects of oral or inhaled dosage forms. This can include strategy, project management, review of formulation development by external suppliers, technical due diligence, GLP, GMP and SOPs or scientific reports. The company can draw on substantial practical and managerial experience gained in both small and large pharmaceutical companies. We are primarily knowledge based although lab based activities could be arranged. We operate on a totally confidential basis with each client with a flexible costing based on our day rate of £750 (Dec 99).

Many groups developing new drugs are reliant on the help and advice they get from their CRO, which whilst being expert and professional, is focussed on their own profit margin. This means that the simplest workable solutions to problems are implemented. What they may not point out is that reworking that solution for a future trial can add to the development time and therefore reduce the patent protected sales time. It is this time that represents the return on investment to a company or a licensee. By independently assessing the work done, or in progress, and recommending alternatives Amsis can increase the value of a new medicine.
