NeoTherapeutics Incorporated

NeoTherapeutics Incorporated is a development stage biopharmaceutical company engaged in the discovery and development of novel therapeutic drugs intended to treat neurodegenerative diseases and conditions, such as memory deficits associated with Alzheimer's disease and aging, stroke, spinal cord injuries, Parkinson's disease, migraine, depression and obesity. The Company's initial product candidate, NEOTROFIN(TM) (AIT-082, leteprinim potassium) and other compounds under development are based on the Company's patented technology. This technology uses small synthetic molecules to create non-toxic compounds, intended to be administered orally or by injection, that are capable of passing through the blood-brain barrier to rapidly act upon specific target cells in specific locations in the central nervous system, including the brain.
