Pantox Laboratories currently determines the concentration of about 25 different chemical substances in human blood serum. These concentrations, when properly interpreted, are very early indicators of situations that may develop into medical problems as time goes by. When recognized early, small corrections can be easily made that promise to avoid problems that are more difficult to deal with later.
Thus, Pantox is concerned about the diagnostics of health. Health here means the optimal biochemical balance that minimizes the rate of metabolic damage to the body. Under these circumstances there is the genuine prospect that degenerative diseases of all kinds can be significantly postponed and the rate of physiological aging retarded.
Pantox Laboratory is quite different from conventional clinical reference laboratories in that our objective is not to recognize or identify disease, but rather to monitor and guide the maintenance of health.
To accomplish this, Pantox promotes the "regular biochemical check-up" be instituted early in life and continued throughout. Dentists have led the way in promoting the "regular dental check-up" because they recognized that teeth do not repair themselves. However, with proper attention, caries and gum disease can be avoided and postponed. The human body has a marvelous capacity for repairing itself. However, some damages are difficult to repair, particularly in older individuals. Thus, the best way to minimize non-repairable damage is to prevent its occurrence.
