PharmaBlood performs R&D of personalized medical treatment methods using as therapeutic agents autologous blood derivative compositions in cancer patients.PharmaBlood is a trademark of Telemedical Organization Inc used to identify the activity of the company in the field of research and development of blood derivatives as medical therapeuticals.
Telemedical Organization Inc is an American company working in different fields of medical knowledge.
In cancer, PharmaBlood has assumed the following biological paradigm: 1) the presence in blood of molecules released by tumor cells or induced by malignant disease 2) the biological activity of these molecules over tumor cells or tumor stroma when they have been modified by physic-chemical or pharmacological procedures 3) the antigenic or positive/negative growth factors as mechanism of action for these modified molecules
As consequence, PharmaBlood has promoted studies about the procedures to modulate the releasing of tumor cell molecules to the patients’blood, the procedures to promote selected activities of these molecules over tumor biology through different modifications and the procedures to improve the involved mechanisms of action in medical practice.
Autologous blood as source of tumor associated molecules is the basis of the ParmaBlood personalized treatment that takes in consideration the individual differences among malignant tumors. The accessibility of blood in cancer patients allows a continuous updating of treatments using tumor released molecules as source of therapeutic agents acknowledging the frequent changes in tumor molecular components by spontaneous or therapeutically induced mutations.
The initial pre-clinical and clinical results are promising for the future development of PharmaBlood available treatments.
