Applied Imaging Corp. competes in the genetic testing and cancer pathology markets. The Company is the leading supplier of automated imaging systems for the analysis of chromosomes in cancer and prenatal disorders. Clinicians and researchers worldwide use our genetic testing systems more often than any other automated system.

The company has expanded its scanning and imaging capabilities, and is adding key reagents, for the detection and genetic characterization of rare cancer cells indicative of metastatic disease. Applied Imaging has placed over 2,500 systems in over 1,000 laboratories in more than 60 countries.



The Company is headquartered in Santa Clara, California with international operations centered in Newcastle, England. Sales for 2001 were $18.5 million, an 11% increase over 2000.
