Aradigm Corporation

Aradigm is engaged in the development of novel pulmonary drug delivery systems designed to enhance the delivery and effectiveness of a number of existing development-stage drugs and reduce the need for injectable drug delivery. Aradigm's principal product development programs are based on its AERx(TM) Pulmonary Drug Delivery System, which uses proprietary technologies to create aerosols from liquid drug formulations for delivery locally to the lung or systemically via the lung. The Company believes that its systems can potentially be used to deliver a number of existing drugs for a variety ofapplications and may also offer a promising means of delivery for many new drugs being developed by pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
