BioInvent’s preferential rights issue is oversubscribed

9th December 2005 Lund, Sweden: The subscription period for BioInvent International AB’s (SAX:BINV) preferential rights issue ended on Friday 2 December and interest in participation in the issue was substantial. The issue was fully guaranteed and was oversubscribed. 26 per cent of the shares were subscribed for without preferential rights and these shares have been allocated to BioInvent’s Board of Directors in accordance with the issue decision. 

The issue has raised SEK 160 million for BioInvent before issue costs. The number of shares in the company following the issue is 47,160,889, which represents a share capital of 23,580,444.50. Trading in the new shares is expected to start around 22 December 2005.
