Mr. Gilles Brisson to join Cytomics Systems’
Supervisory Board
Gif-sur-Yvette (France) - May 29, 2007 - CYTOMICS
SYSTEMS, a privately-held development stage company with proprietary expertise
in protein degradation pathways, today announced the appointment of Mr. Gilles
Brisson formerly with Aventis and Sanofi-Aventis as a member of its Supervisory
Board.

Gilles Brisson has been Chairman of the Management board of Aventis Pharma S.A.
since 1999 and then Chairman of its supervisory board. Mr Brisson, who joined
the pharmaceutical division of the Rhône-Poulenc group in 1980, has assumed
different operational responsibilities in France, Europe and Japan and was
Senior Vice President Corporate Development of Rhône-Poulenc Rorer. He was in
charge of commercial operations in France for Aventis where he has served as
Corporate Senior Vice President of worldwide Communications and for Public
Affairs. He was then responsible for Europe commercial operations. Mr Brisson
had similar responsibilities for the Sanofi-Aventis group. He was previously
director of marketing at SMO and Smith Corona-Marchant Corp. Mr Brisson is a
graduate of HEC (1973), a leading French business school.

Gilles Brisson added: “I am very happy to join the Supervisory Board of Cytomics

anti-fungals. This is a very interesting area and it is very exciting to try
these new approaches for the benefit of patients who suffer from life
threatening diseases.”
