IntegraGen appoints
Emmanuel Martin as Director for its new Genetic Research Services
|
Paris, France, 25 October 2006: IntegraGen announced today the
recent appointment of Emmanuel Martin as Director Sales and Marketing for its
new business unit “Genetic Research Services”.
Customized high-throughput SNP genotyping services are provided to the research
community to help accelerate discovery. IntegraGen offers access to the broadest
technology portfolio in the market, including state-of-the art technologies such
as SNPlex®, Agilent and Illumina® and IntegraChips™, superior BAC-arrays for
genomic DNA applications.
Welcoming Emmanuel Martin in his new position, Dr Jan Mous, President and CEO of
IntegraGen said: “Emmanuel has an outstanding track record and has already
successfully brought in one major contract for genotyping. We are delighted to
welcome him on board.”
Previously Mr. Martin worked at Applied Biosystems, Applera, France as a Senior
Sales Specialist in SNP® genotyping and gene expression. In the eight years at
Applied, he also worked as a business developer and research field engineer in
Real Time PCR®. In addition Mr. Martin has over six years of research experience
in molecular biology. He qualified as a pharmacist and received his DEA “Bases
Fondamentales de l’Oncogénèse” from the University of Paris V, France.
Commenting on his new role at IntegraGen, Mr. Martin added: “IntegraGen is a
very experienced company offering a lot of value to other researchers. I am
delighted to take the lead on this new business unit and I am looking forward to
the challenge of developing this outstanding expertise of the Company.”
Mr. Martin will be based at IntegraGen’s offices in Evry, near Paris and will be
responsible for promoting IntegraGen’s genotyping services and for client and
distributors relations.
