London, UK 4 October 2006
Intersuisse BioScience Managers and its co-sponsors are pleased to announce
that Martin Greenacre, former executive chairman of SmithKline Beecham Europe
and now Chairman of Beijing Med-Pharm, will be the special guest speaker at
the 3rd Asia Pacific Life Science Forum to be held at the Cumberland Hotel,
London on October 12, 2006.
Martin Greenacre will speak on commercial strategies for
developing pharmaceutical markets in China - soon to be the world's largest
consumer market - and how to access the development capital for such
strategies.
The Asia Pacific region is increasingly looking to the life
sciences to drive local economies and address local medical and agricultural
needs. Australia has a pedigree in medical devices and at least two global
successes with Biota and Peptech; Korea has a burgeoning generics industry,
and Singapore is blazing a trail in stem cell research.
Attendance at the Forum is limited so please apply as soon as
possible to receive a complimentary place. There will be an Australian
wine-tasting and reception at the end of the day and an opportunity to mingle
with senior management of 15 Asian and Australian quoted companies and both
private equity and public market investors.
