Northbank Welcomes Back Dr Marc Egelhofer to London Team

London, Manchester, Munich – 26 September 2007 Northbank Communications, the leader in life science PR and communications, has announced the reappointment of Dr Marc Egelhofger as Senior Account Manager, following a year abroad. He will be based in Northbank’s London office.

Marc has a background in life sciences and print and broadcast journalism. As Senior Account Manager, he provides account support for a variety of life science clients. His focus is on integrated marketing communications campaigns that draw on his media relations, advertising, technical writing and project management skills. Previous experience includes major clients such as Biacore, Tecan and Sigma-Aldrich. His current clients include GE Healthcare Life Sciences, Smiths Detection and Myconostica.

Prior to first joining Northbank in 2004, Marc gained experience in journalism and gained an in-depth knowledge of German media. He trained as a scientific writer and subsequently held journalistic positions with scientific journals, radio and TV. He has also worked in-house, in B2B and technical PR, with BASF AG. He has a degree in chemistry and a PhD in biological sciences with research experience gained in Germany and the US.
