Oxford, UK; 10 October 2005 - Oxford Immunotec Ltd. announced today the appointment of Mr Ian Miscampbell as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with immediate effect. Mr Miscampbell has over 15 years experience in senior financial positions and joins Oxford Immunotec from Microscience Holdings Plc, where he was Finance Director. Previously, Mr Miscampbell was Chief Operating Officer and Finance Director of KS Biomedix Holdings plc and before that Finance Director of Reneuron Limited. Before entering the life sciences sector he gained significant experience as Finance Director in medium sized entities in the textiles and food sectors, having previously qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. Mr Miscampbell will replace Mr Iain Rae, who held the position part-time.
